THE HOUSES + ARC DINNING

Whilst everyone is talking about the two large spaces Howard Smith Wharves have on offer smack bang on the Brisbane riverfront; this month we’re focusing on their more intimate and cosy smaller venues… Nestled amongst the cliffs HSW also features some great boutique event spaces perfect for holding an intimate meeting or small gathering.

BOUGAINVILLEA HOUSE: The largest of the houses, with a capacity of 100pax cocktail; Bougainvillea House features a wrap-around veranda with elevated views overlooking the Story Bridge and city skyline.

GREENHOUSE: Nestled in the heart of the HSW gardens, Green House offers an inner city escape for up to 60 guests. Overlooking the Olive Grove, this event space opens out onto a veranda creating an opportunity for alfresco dining or inspiring breakouts.

CITRUS & WISTERIA HOUSE: These quaint and charming houses, are ideal for a boardroom style meetings, small cocktail parties or bespoke private dining. They’re also a great green room option for the larger venues.

ARC DINING: Set on the edge of the Brisbane River with stunning views of Brisbane City, ARC Dining features a sophisticated, modern concept inspired by art and culture. ARC’s glasshouse structure with floor to ceiling windows and light-filled dining rooms allows up to 80 guests to take in the spectacular views of the Brisbane River and city skyline – the perfect location for intimate events.

OUTDOOR SPACES: HSW’s expansive outdoor lawn areas also provide endless opportunities for alfresco events; as an extension of a main event, or as standalone events in the parklands.
