Venue Review – The Calile Hotel
Exciting news – Brisbane is about to get a new super chic, turbo hip hotel in the heart of the Valley. The LOUD team were recently lucky enough to have a sneak peek hard hat tour through The Calile Hotel, which is due to open later this month. We were so impressed and can’t wait to see the finished product.
The hotel has a total of 175 rooms over 6 floors all designed with the little details in mind – think California coastal mixed with aged brass features and glorious on-trend colours like millennial pink and sage green. We love that the majority of mini bar items have been hand-picked from local Brisbane suppliers (but don’t worry, there’s still French champagne).
Along with the stunning guest rooms, the Calile offers function facilities for up to 500 people. The Grand Room (able to accommodate 300 for a sit-down soiree) can be divided into four smaller rooms to suit your event. In addition to these flexible spaces, there are also two private rooms for more intimate events and dinners.
The Lobby Bar, with its stunning pink marble feature bar will be a fabulous place to watch the goings-on of trendy James Street. Hellenika restaurant has taken up residence poolside and we are super excited to have their Greek amazingness closer to home!
