Venue Review – The Bavarian

Nestled amongst the restaurants lining Eagle Street Pier is the Bavarian. The venue boasts floor to ceiling frameless bi-fold windows that completely open up creating a light and bright unique space. Perfectly positioned on the waterfront, with panoramic views of the Story Bridge with uninterrupted views across the Brisbane River, the venue is a great option for corporate Christmas Parties.

The Bavarian can welcome groups of up to 650 people in a cocktail format. The team are more than happy to accommodate any requests to make the space work for individual groups. Whether it be food stations, trayed service or preset treats on tables there is a style for everyone.

Another great feature is that the venue really is not themed in the ‘traditional German’ way. Instead, there is a lot of greenery hanging from the ceiling and long wooden tables complete with bench seating. Staff can wear traditional lederhosen or simple black and white checked shirts. Furniture can be shifted in a multitude of different configurations to allow for entertainment to be showcased. The Bavarian really is a canvas for event managers to create.
