Venue Review – Smoked Garage

This place is literally “smoking”!   Smoked Garage, recently relocated to Fortitude Valley, and have seamlessly transferred the feel of their previous space, while taking it to a whole new level.  Think old world glamour meets grungy industrial.

This place is authentic with a capital A, glamourous botanical wallpaper, exposed bricks, vintage furniture, large chandeliers and of course stunning custom made motorcycles and accessories.  The history oozes from this 100+ year old building.

They are still evolving their space with the top level soon to be a dedicated function space, complete with a glass roof, massive chandeliers and vintage décor. Once completed this brings the total capacity to 600 cocktail (level 1, 400pax and ground floor, 200pax).

Currently, the street level is a café / bar / showroom, with a fully functioning design and build workshop for their custom motorcycles in the basement that really has to be visited to fully appreciate.

Due to be fully finished mid-year, we are so excited to see the completion – just in time for the onset of the party season.
