Style Files – Celebrate Halloween with Style
As the spooks and ghouls creep back into the calendar in October why not celebrate Halloween in a monochromatic palette this year. Expand the traditional colours and create a scheme in black and white. Paint pumpkins in stripes, in checks or plain matt black or white and add a variety of shapes to the mix. You can extend existing everyday décor items in this colour palette and add touches of the eerie night such as black birds, spiders or even fun costume items to add an element of Halloween.
Halloween doesn’t have to be orange pumpkins, cobwebs and bats. We can celebrate it with style and a little fun if we just visit the left side of our brain for a little longer.
