LOUD’s Top 5 Private Dining Rooms in Brisbane

Been a while since you have caught up with friends? Now that we’re all starting to get back out and about and support our local restaurants, the LOUD team have put together some of our favourite private dining rooms in Brisbane away from the hustle and bustle of the maddening crowd.

  1. Baedeker

The Cellar at Baedeker is truly one of Brisbane’s most unique private dining spaces, concealed behind a rotating bookcase seating up to 20 guests. Step back to the era of illicit “gin joints” and jazz – hedonistic, glamorous, decadent, opulent. Our friends at Wine & Dine’m Catering bring their next level food and wine to the space, guaranteeing an enjoyable night.

  1. Gerard’s Bistro

Located just off James Street in Fortitude Valley, the food at Gerard’s Bistro can only be described as inimitable. Inspired by Middle Eastern flavours and using fresh, seasonal produce, the menu is designed to be shared, and what better place to do it than Gerard’s private dining room with up to 31 of your favourite people.

  1. 1889 Enoteca

Nestled in the increasingly popular restaurant precinct of Logan is the exquisite 1889 Enoteca, an Italian restaurant with a menu that would give Mamma a run for her money! Their private wine cellar can seat up to 42 people and feels a world away. LOUD tip – DO NOT leave without trying the tiramisu. It’s as if it were made by angels.

  1. Boom Boom Room

Looking for something a little more intimate? The Vaults at the Boom are a little snapshot of history, with the entry via the old bank vault doors. 15 people can be accommodated for a sit-down dinner at this opulent, luxe space. Dining is currently from the Donna Chang’s menu featuring Sichuan flavours and authentic Cantonese cuisine.

  1. Howard Smith Wharves

Howard Smith Wharves is not just a venue for large scale soirees. Did you know there are also two lovely little rooms suitable for a dinner for up to ten? Quaint and charming, Citrus House is the ideal venue for boardroom style meetings, small cocktail parties or bespoke private dining. Situated near the cliff face, this event space lends itself to intimate gatherings. And located behind the heritage Rivershed building, Wisteria House is an intimate venue for smaller events.
