LOUD Loves – Holidays & Resolutions

2020 was hard going….it was LOUD’s busiest non busy year. Cancellations, postponements and more cancellations. However, COVID 19 did bring with it a beautiful January break in which the staff finally had time to reset and refocus. We asked the ladies (most of the time) to share their favourite holiday moments and aspirations for 2021…..Bring it on!

Healthy body, healthy mind, healthy bank account! My family got the absolute privilege to move into our new house that was built the week before Christmas.  My highlight of 2021 is getting to sit on the balcony with Daz at 5.30am while it is still and quiet, drinking a cup of coffee as the new day is beginning (or an afternoon beverage). I LOVE IT! – Helena

Accept what is and embrace it with passion and positivity! The holiday period provided us with time to regroup after the busiest non busy year of our lives. After a year of angst and unknown, I just loved hanging with my family listening to tunes, turning the phone off, swimming in the ocean and not making school lunches. – Mezzie

Look up. Do not worry so much and enjoy what 2021 will bring. The holiday period saw us road trip down to Melbourne to spend Christmas with my family, some of which I had not seen for 2 years with travel restrictions in place. As a family we have had quite a few hurdles come our way in 2020, it was nice to be face to face and creating new memories. – Danielle

Be grateful for what we have in our backyard. COVID has brought our communities together like never before and I’m looking forward to further embracing this. My family was very lucky to have made a trip to Tropical North Queensland over the holidays. Despite being locked down in our hotel room for 3 days like Brisbane, we managed to squeeze in a lot of fun activities including snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, tubing down a crocodile free river and a day trip to Cape Tribulation. Put it on your must travel list! – Katie
