INAS Global Games

Brisbane is hosting the 2019 INAS Global Games this October – the world’s biggest high performance sports event for athletes with an intellectual impairment.
The 2019 INAS Global Games are expected to be the best yet! Hosted by Sport Inclusion Australia, more than 1,000 athletes have travelled to Brisbane to compete. On Saturday the 12th October athletes walked the streets of Brisbane city to King George Square for the official opening ceremony.
This is the first time the games are being held in Australia and is an important event in the build-up to the Paralympic Games. Many athletes who have made their major international debut at the Global Games have gone on to win Paralympic titles.
With such a great beginning to the games, LOUD events are looking forward to the closing ceremony on Saturday 19th October at the Queensland State Netball Centre.
