Get Axed! Teambuilding with a difference

This month LOUD are excited to bring a new concept to the Brisbane market. Have you ever wanted an outlet to release some aggression or perhaps showcase your hidden Lumberjack talent? Well Brisbane’s Lumber Punks may be the answer for you.

So what is Lumber Punks we hear you ask? Well it is an indoor axe throwing venue perfect for both small and larger groups of up to 76 people. The venue has 19 lanes and they allocate a maximum of 4 people to a lane, so the wait is not too long for your turn. The aim of the game is to throw your axe and hit the bullseye, all in the name of competition.

For all of you thinking, hmmm my axe throwing may be a little wayward, do not fear as the team provide training on both the Tactical Tomahawks and the Estwing Hatchets (we had to google these too). The session lasts for approximately 1.5 hours and the Lumber Punk team have partnerships with nearby venues such as the Montague Hotel, Archive and Ballistic and Netherworld in the Valley so you can continue the fun minus the axes.

Lumber Punks have also exercised their charitable muscles by donating to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Having been affected by the disease first hand the team really wanted to do their part by creating competitions for visitors across the month of October. Combined a total of $4390 was raised for NBCF.
