Event in Review – ISSBD 2018

LOUD events recently had the pleasure of working on the 25th Biennial Meeting of the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development (ISSBD2018). The five-day conference saw over 800 delegates from across the world congregate at The Star on the Gold Coast to discuss the latest in human developmental research.

The diverse international program consisted of world renowned keynote speakers, ten concurrent breakout sessions comprised of symposiums and workshops, as well as over 500 individual posters. Running alongside the busy conference program were pre-conference workshops and three social events. The Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception saw delegates enjoy traditional Australian entertainment under the stars with delicious food and drinks. The Gala Dinner celebrated the conference with live music and entertainment, customised table gifts and styling to reflect the Gold Coast and Australia. The conference concluded with the Farewell Reception on the lawn where delegates enjoyed a relaxed afternoon of drinks and canapes in the sunshine before heading home.

LOUD events absolutely loved working with ISSBD2018 to deliver this seamless conference and highlight the wonderful Gold Coast to international delegates from over 57 different countries.
