Event Focus – Brisbane Pride Fair Day

For the third year running, the LOUD team worked alongside Brisbane Pride Inc to organise and deliver the 2019 Pride Fair Day. Held on the third Saturday in September in New Farm Park, Pride Fair day brought together thousands in their rainbow colours celebrating equality.

2019 saw one of the biggest Fair Days yet, with over 100 community organisations and businesses having a stall at the event. The day featured a full program including three stages of varied entertainment, including headliners Samantha Jade, Kira Puru, as well as The Voice Australia stars Sellma Soul and Ellen Reed.

LOUD provide support to the committee through the organisation of event permits, infrastructure, onsite management, and stage management. It’s definitely one of our favourite events of the year, as everyone comes together as a community, free from judgement, to celebrate equality.
