APSA entertainment a feast for the ears

2019 brings yet another year that LOUD proudly produced the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA). Dubbed the “Oscars” of the Asia Pacific, it’s the Asia Pacific’s highest accolade in film… right here in Brisbane!
37 films from 22 countries and areas of Asia Pacific achieved nominations for the 2019 Awards – the competition is high and selection process rigorous.
This year an absolute highlight of the night was the entertainment on offer. Three main pieces impressed the guests – a collaboration with Australian, Indian, Japanese and Korean musicians. All playing traditional instruments it was an explorative feast for the ears – shifting between a haunting song for peace to lively to a soulful prayer. This is really what APSA is all about – celebrating cultural diversity, telling stories and ultimately to entertain.
What a wonderful evening of film of the region and of course it was not without the celebrities, red carpet and memorable winners!
