Ryuichi Sakamoto Comes to Brisbane

Brisbane is honoured to host the multi award winner, and Asian Filmmaker of the Year, Ryuichi Sakamoto at the upcoming 2018 Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) this November. LOUD events are extremely excited to be associated with such an honourable Japanese talent.

Sakamoto, is a Japanese composer, writer and actor who, to name drop a just few accomplishments – composed soundtracks for The Last Emperor, Babel and The Revenant that starred Leonardo DiCaprio.

This is one man who does not fit inside a box, an outspoken activist and with a personality that matches his career, his music ranges from experimental electronic fusion to traditional Japanese classical.

Look out for not only the famous, but the brilliant, talented and absolute masters of their craft arriving in Brisbane late November.
