Event Space - The Johnson

by Marianne Edmonds

We had the opportunity last week to be part of an event held in the penthouses of The Johnson at Spring Hill. It was nothing short of stunning. Elegant, spacious & offering stunning views of the CBD.

Set in Spring Hill on the doorstep of Brisbane’s vibrant CBD, The Johnson takes its design cues from Australian abstract artist, Michael Johnson. Adorned with Michael Johnson’s giclee prints and flooded with natural light, state-of-the-art technological solutions, flexible room setups the space is great for 40 people in a private sit down dinner or 60 for a cocktail event.

The food was stunning, the view magnificent and staff so friendly - what a beautiful space to plan the next management meeting or client cocktail event.

The Bay Collective

by Lucy Kelly

What can we tell you about the rumpus feast that is The Bay Collective? Well firstly, it’s not a rumpus! It is a highly organised gathering of high quality professional musicians from the Northern Rivers area and the brainchild of one of Byron Bay’s most entrepreneurial songstresses and performers, Hayley Grace.

The Bay Collective Big Band is an 8 piece group which serve up tasty Funk, Reggae & Trip Hop covers and originals with sasssssssss! But that’s not the end of it, under the large and waterproof umbrella of The Bay Collective brand stands a meeting place for musicians, venues and clients to merge, cajole, and share an espresso martini or two. Kind of like the United Nations of the musical world for the Northern Rivers.
