Just across the water from the Breakfast Creek Hotel exists Lumiere a brand-new event space and culinary studio run by the hospitality masters at Montrachet restaurant and King St Bakery in Bowen Hills.
Chef Shannon Kellam and his wife Clare have designed the space and the menu to showcase everything great about Brisbane and to suit the Queensland palate and lifestyle. The menu is designed around seasonal, local produce with stunning offerings like braised Jimbour pork cheek and slow-roasted Darling Downs côte de boeuf. The menus offer a versatility that we love, with sit-down plated, shared family style and cocktail style affairs all accommodated.
All event rooms offer stunning views of the Brisbane River overlooking Newstead House. There are 6 event spaces to choose from, suitable for parties from 20 – 500 pax.
The LOUD team are also super excited about the reopening of the culinary studio when restrictions have lifted. Private bookings require a minimum of 10 people and can cater up to 36. You can choose a specific theme of class or for the ultimate hands-on team building activity, you and your colleagues can participate in the ultimate Lumiere “pressure test”. The private classes can be customised to include canapés and refreshments on arrival, as well as meals in a private dining room afterwards. Yes please!
